New 'old' knife

Bruce Evans made this knife as one of his JS test knives that he brought to Atlanta in 2006.
He passed the tests and got his stamp.

Back then I really wanted this knife, but didn't have the funds.
When it popped up on the For Sale section of the 'other' knife forum I jumped on it so fast I surprised myself

Curvalicious isn't it?

Thanx for looking!

Now for a sheath...

Cool that you could get the knife you wanted, it was meant to be.
I won't bore you with all the aspects of the knife that I like just that everything works together and for lack of a better description I think it has an " old world" look to it.

Congrats on the score.

Yep, I remember this little bowie from 2006. I was there that year, I believe it was the same show He tested with me for his Master Smith performance test and passed. We were outside in a grassy area of the hotel. Bruce brought a 1" rope and a 2x4" to cut in half. Also a vice to bend the blade. We attracted a small crowd too. I miss those days. Wish he would make knives again. hint hint Bruce.

I didn't realize he quit. I learned a lot from his tutorials on his website, and the video he did about making a tomahawk. He has a lot of talent, and comes across as a decent fellow.

Hope he comes back into our fold.
