KNIFE MAKER
I posted some clips I've been working on the other day. This is a sheath system utilizing one on the clips. This is a prototype....so the leather got cut undersize and some lines do not match (but will...lol)
I have a very good sheath maker who charges accordingly. I also owe some free knives that I promised before I took ill....this will allow me to sheath them without a bunch leather work on my part- or - expense....if I had my sheath guy make them.
If I were to sell these, they'd cost almost as much as the knife does....but it's work I'M CAPABLE of ...so it'll help get me out of the bind i'm in...Even if I give 'em away...
the clip works very well. The saya is Corian and is screwed together, super glued, then tightened and then the heads of the threaded inserts and the screw heads on the other side are ground flush then polished. The buffing wheel grabbed this and threw it hard 3 different times...I think it will hold up.
After I fix this it's going out for a friend that has been waiting...
