Howdy. I was doing research on grinders and latched onto this forum. Seems like a good group. I'm a retired cop in TX that's decided to chase a childhood dream. I've made one knife out of a railroad spike, I weld, and have done some basic blacksmithing so I guess I'm ready. I'll be hitting you guys with all the stupid questions and maybe a couple of good ones here and there. Incidentally the Blade Show in Ft. Worth was really cool and I think I got sold on a Brodbeck grinder. I'll post more about it in the appropriate forum. Nice to meet y'all.
