One legged ostrich

There is a one legged ostrich around here somewhere because I put his other leg on the handle of this knife. One of my small trapper modles with ostrich leg bone, yeah you heard right, ostrich leg bone.

It looked that way when I bought it, I dont know if it has been dyed or if that is a natural patina, it has been stabilized though.

Thats a great idea, I have some ostrich leather (Leg skin) that I bought several years ago and been trying to figure out what to do with it. I'll make a small pouch for this knife. Thanks for the idea.
