I recently finished up two hunting knives in 1/8" 1095 steel, they're hollow ground and by playing with the quench I was able to get some attractive hamon-like differential to show up on the blades during the polish. They've got a 45 micron/emery buff working finish, A36 carbon steel bolsters and silver/black Dymondwood laminate handle scales. The bolster pins are 304 and aren't unattractive in the way they show. The fastener closest to the butt is a Corby for durability. They both come with the heavy vertical style sheath shown and will absolutely shave hair.
As the hamon is slightly better on one than the other, I'd like to sell them as a pair for $260 including USPS Priority Mail shipping. Thank you for looking!
