Punches for Leather

Who makes some decent Diamond punches for leather for hand stiching. The cheapies I bought from Amazon even after sharpening and bees wax are a bear to get out of 3 layers of 8 leather! Is there a better way to do this? I have drilled them also but am not fond of the finished look.

I drill mine with an awl needle, but I’m always looking for something new. @oldknife here on the forums came up with this drill. I think I’m gonna give it a shot.
