I made these a few months back before I discovered this site and you helped me with the heat treating, these 4 will barely cut butter, lol.

I wanna strip them which will destroy the scales and then re heat treat the blades, can I just quench and temper these 4?

The one one the left is made of oak and synthetic floor tile all glued with Gorilla glue.

Yes , remove the scales and re harden with a temper for 2 hours this time at just under 200C and they should be right
