Scagel inspired hunter/skinner

I've always wanted to do something Scagel styled and I finally got around to it. It didn't come out perfect but I learned what I need to know to do them right from now on.
Blade is AEB-L @ 62 RC with a FFG and 600 grit hand rubbed finish. 4.5" long, 1.5" wide, & just shy of 1/8" thick at the Ricasso with a slight distal taper.
Handle and fittings are Amber stag, 416 SS, red linen Micarta, & Maroon linen Micarta.
Overall length is 9 & 1/8".
It was a fun build and I'm sure I'll be doing more.
What do you guys think?Scagel #1 .JPG Scagel #2 .JPG Scagel #3 .JPG

I like everything about that! Fit and finish is spectacular. I really like how you chose spacer/collar material to bring out the colors in the stag. The shape of your blade is my idea of ideal for a skinner.

Thanks guys.

Dennis-I sourced the stag but I did have it dyed by Culpepper. I've tried several methods to do it myself but have never been able to match the look that I get from Culpepper.
