I've got two groups of handle materials for sale.
#1: SOLD
Two beautiful sets of K&G stabilized curly koa bookmatched scales. Please read details below carefully.
Big set on the left is 5 ¹/⁴" x 2 ¹/⁴" x ¹/²" each scale. There are a few small, very shallow surface checks near the end of each piece. I circled these with pencil in the pic.
Right set measures 4 ³/⁴" long x 1 ¹/⁴" narrow end to 2 ³/⁸" wide end x ¹/⁴" thick each scale.
#2: SOLD
4 pack of nice natural handle blocks. African blackwood (read below), curly eastern hard maple, Bolivian rosewood, eastern hard curly maple.
The blackwood has a scallop on the right edge where I ground away a bark pocket to make sure the block is solid. The block is still 1 5/8"wide to the edge of the scallop. A big Bowie handle could still easily be made.
The other blocks are at least 5 ¹/⁴" x 1 ³/⁴" x 1"
