starit razor question

i have big ham hands im drawing out my first strait razor would these in pic one help with griping

& how to get these texture with out forgeing pic to pic one

Maybe a strong acid etch with a resist? or take a small drill bit and drill lots of holes then heavily sandblast.

Why not cord wrap the thing if grip is your primary concern?
