this one is a camp monster at 10" overall. it is from hand forged 5160 and locally sourced black jack oak. the finish is our Crime Scene etched finish. quite a chopper.

That is an absolute camp zombie killer / do all knife! The blade shape is killer, and the wood just adds to the overall appeal. Slap some leather on the handle for a touch of western ruggedness... combine the whole thing with that amazing crime scene finish (which I would love to duplicate) and you have a camp knife to chase away all the critters, and slice 'em if they get too close.
This one brings it!

Sweet!
I think the term Final Scene is more appropriate for this whole package. It has a similar look to my Northern Mediterranean Chef knife called the Italian Job, 8 1/2" blade.
You can also cook what you kill. Very nice work!

Looks good. I like the oak handle - very utilitarian.

many thanks, my friends. the handle actually took longer than it looks. i actually recessed the entire area where the cord wrap is, so it would keep the taper and shape of the handle.
