The Most Defining Sermon on Christianity I've Ever Heard

Recently, I've been listening a lot to the sermons of John Piper (almost one a day for the past two weeks). I started in 1 Peter just by chance. He takes about seven sermons to make it to verse 13 of chapter one, but I think it's one of the best sermons I've ever heard. It's worth taking the time to listen to all the ones leading up to this one http://www.desiringgod.org/resource-library/sermons/girding-the-mind-to-guard-your-hope
but if you don't have time, this one by itself is worth it. I had never heard a pastor say what Piper says about Christianity in this sermon, but I think it's so so true. Piper's teachings have had a huge impact on me. They've really renewed the value and magnitude of Christianity for me. It's amazing that Christ not only died for us, but that God knew He would send His Son to be the sacrifice for us before He even created the world! We have the greatest hope in the greatest God. I wish I didn't forget that as readily as I do...
