Tube handled survival knife

A randall-alike, with some differences. Anyway, 5 1/2" 440C steel blade (Rc59), stainless tube handle 4 3/4" long; 1" of tang in the handle. Silver soldered and epoxied to hold it together. Brass guard, "crutch cap", like the old randalls had, to keep the contents dry and secure. Used a 12-ton shop press to fit the slightly oversized tang into the tubular handle. Hope you like it.

Simple.

When I was a kid I had a hollow handle knife... I don't know why I felt prepared in the middle of los Angeles with matchsticks and fishing line and hooks...but I did...LOL.

I still like them. nice job
