This is my latest experiment. Critiques and comments are appreciated.

This one is 1084 hand sanded to 400 grit with a mirror polish on the file work and a tapered tang. The handle is G10 and Ironwood with copper pins. The blade is 4" and the handle is 5". The thickness at the ricasso is .150" and the edge thickness before sharpening is .015". Thanks for looking and double thanks for an honest critique.

Matt- I like it- the wood is sweet and looks great against the bolsters. The file work looks good to me and from what can see workmanship is really good so that is 90% of why it works. The fact that it is a bit non-traditional may narrow the market for it a bit, if selling quickly was your intent. That said it could be the reason someone wants it too so it's a nice addition to a selection for sure.

Thank you for letting me know what you think. You're right, it is a bit non-traditional, I think that's why I had so much fun making it. Thanks
Matt
