Been wanting to make one for a while, and just finished binge watching "The Last Kingdom" - that clinched it - good, if you're into that period of conflict between the Norse peoples and early English kingdoms...anyway...will post more as it goes. About 14" tang to tip; will be a couple inches longer when handled. A2 steel, unwrapped in the oven for effect; rough grind, 3/16" thick, 1 1/2" wide. Hope you like it.

Finished the seax. Tried to make it look "period" with some scale on the blade, leather washers on either side of the leadwood handle which is wrapped in a heavy nylon soaked in shellac. Copper/brass/copper guard, copper butt plate and brass striker pommel. Next, the sheath :)
