This was one the customer gave me the reigns on. I'm real happy with the way it turned outuploadfromtaptalk1431051231861.jpguploadfromtaptalk1431051329825.jpguploadfromtaptalk1431051431672.jpguploadfromtaptalk1431051517717.jpguploadfromtaptalk1431051607256.jpg

I like it very much, nice grinds. You always make some pretty classy stuff, love the handle materials.

I'm debating if the red liner is perfect or if it should have been a copper liner, maybe even a copper liner with the red liner.

It looks Great! Thanks for sharing your work with us,

Don

Hey, that's pretty nice. Nice layout of the handle and great use of materials. The blade profile I like very much. It's very similar to a folder blade I'm about to heat treat today.

I would have liked to see the grind go up higher but that's a personal preference thing.

Nice work.

Thanks for the compliments, I really appreciate it! I wasn't sure about the red liner myself. I debated using copper like you mentioned. Maybe next time

Thank you sir. I appreciate you taking the time to comment. I like this style of blade myself. It just looks good to me. I wish I had a 14" wheel. I agree about the grind. I would prefer it to be a little taller too! I'm just nervous to grind too high with my 8" wheel. It has turned disastrous more than once trying to push it a little higher. I've learned my limits with the 8" wheel.
