Wrought dagger

I made this one for a KITH over at British Blades... I have a hard time not joining KITHs (knife-in-the-hat), I do enjoy a challenge, and it just so happened that I wanted to make a dagger anyway... :3:

This one is 1095 with a wrought iron core, my first edge-wrap style construction. The handle is walnut, with copious amounts of copper for the fittings, and a touch of brass. Overall length is around 11 inches (yet again I forgot to get proper measurements), and the balance is at the guard.

Still need to do one or two things to it, but it's 99% finished. I have to make a sheath for it too by the end of the month...

Thanks for looking!

That's a real nice dagger, George. I really like the blade, and the copper with the walnut looks great. Wade

I got a scabbard made for it.

The handle is English walnut, the scabbard is American black walnut, they almost match...
The overall length is 11 1/2" with a 7" blade.
