New to knife making. I have been reading this forum for about6mo.
So far 2 knives complete, and the 2 car garage has become a no-car garage.
This has been a great forum with many people eager to share and help.

Hey Ben,

I lived in Ft. Smith in 1990/91. Worked out at Ft. Chaffee before I left. Beautiful area. Hope to see some of your work posted!

I'll try to post some this weekend.
Arkansas/Oklahoma seems to have it's share of knife makers.
Bill Duff has been a god-send for me so far.

Rock, Im sure you don't miss Chaffee much, but the ticks miss you.

Anyone going to the littlerock show on the 20-21st?

Hello Smoke I'm a beginner too. Just a few miles west of you on I40 in Oklahoma

Bill Duff is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. You know his history. Lynn Drury is also down there. A little North is Gary Crowder at Sallisaw.Another good one. Forgot to say WELCOME to the dogs

Welcome to the pack Ben. Good to see another Arkansan in the kennel.

Rock, I didn't know you used to work out at Chaffee. I was stationed there from '05-'07 as an instructor (thought I did all of my teaching at Ft. Hood). I've fed plenty of tics out on those training lanes over many summers and even a Brown Recluse.

Hello Ben - good to see you made it here.

Ben is building a No Weld Grinder and is getting into this with both feet. He is a single father of 2 and soldier. Let's give him a hand where we can.
