Spalted Sassafras burl hunter

I've been out of the shop for a while moving and starting a new job, but I'm back. Here is my first in a while for your viewing pleasure. It's 1080, about 8.5" OAL, with some stunning stabilized spalted Sassafras burl from Rob at Bad Dogs Burl Source. Comments and critique welcome. Sheath is tooled and made by me as well.

I appreciate the comments guys. Y'all really should check out Bad Dogs Burl Source. Rob Doyle is a great guy to deal with, has a wonderful selection of amazing wood for very competitive prices, and has always treated me right. I can't speak highly enough of him.

As for the design, credit goes to my wife on this one. She's a graphic designer, and is involved in some way in all of my designs. This one and several other of my best she designed outright by herself. A man with a good wife is wealthy indeed!
