5th antler knife

I have a couple racks laying around the shop from deer I shot. I finally decided to cut a hunk off and make a handle out of it. This is only my 5th knife using antler. I don't like working with it. It smells funny and often behaves poorly. Wood and micarta cooperate with me much better than antler. The knife is 8 3/4" OAL with brass fittings and stabilized leather spacers. The blade is 5/32" O1.

Thanks for the kind words. I sand the antler to 1500 grit and buff with white rouge.

You are welcome. I made that knife for my daughter. Some jackhandle stole the other one I made for her.
