respirator filter?

How often do you guys change yours? I use the pink circular ones the 3m p100 just curious how often I should be changing them

I change the filters on mine about one a year.
Also seal it in a large plastic bag when not in use to help keep the crude out of the facemask area.
Filters are cheap and replacable. Your lungs are a different story.

Sealing it like that is tricky

There is a long thread on BF about a fellow with a fungal infection and the source may have been his resp.

You need to dissemble clean and dry it after use.
a cloth bag may be better to allow airflow while repelling dust.



How often to change ?
You will feel a definite change in breathing effort when it is clogged.
 
I clean the mask itself about once a week, maybe once a month. Appreciate the posts guys.
 
I use a North 7700. Clean it monthly. Change filters about every 6 months. These cost a bit more than the 3M ones. They are both 0100 & gas vapor filtering.
