The 7 inch chef in 12C27 has eucalyptus handles and is away to its new kitchen today

Good job - I especially like the shape of the eucalyptus handle in front. I just might copy that shape on my next chef's knife. Looks really good. I used buffalo horn on a slicer for the wife this past summer and really like it. It seems to "feel good" in the hand and doesn't seem to get so slippery in use. Now I wish I'd got more at Blade this past summer.

If you copy the pic and scale it till there is 3 1/4 in between the front and rear pins you should be able to get an exact copy. I use the same handle on all the kitchen set and the carver so they a feel the same in hand and with 1/4 in scales either side of the 1/8 in tang the handle, this makes it good for ladies hands but still feels right for the type of use it is for, in my large hands.
Agree on the non sip property of the buffalo horn and the nice "feel" it has
