I was planning on just doing stock removal, but too many projects I want to make seem to be demanding it. So I couldn't resist this deal. I didn't have a steel ball bearing but this glass one rebounds at near as I can tell about 95.8% (11.5" from 12"). It...
Perhaps it might be interesting to write a similar list from the perspective of any one of those respondents. I am sure that each finds an annoyance in many of the people that come demanding all sorts of things. I have seen someone try such a thing in one of the programming forums. I don't think...
It was a list. It started out as an explanation to someone who basically gave up on a particular forum because of the responses they got. I felt someone else might enjoy it. If not, no biggie.
Obviously it would be a gross generalization to say that all forums are the same with equal ratios and such. You should see the humorous response I got to this on a similar forum. :)
If you have been on the internet long enough you will find most technical forums will have the following standard respondents to your questions. This is not specific to knife makers, but perhaps they pertain. :)
1. Nike... Just do it.
This is common in many verticals. Many very skilled and...
A picture might help. Normally there is outside support of the spring. I have one that has a spring cage to support it. You might have either too long of a spring so the upper coils are not supported, or possibly too narrow of an OD also giving to a lack of support. There should either be a...

First of all, correct me if I get the terminology off since I have yet to find good documentation on the inner workings and most forums I have perused tend more towards the collecting and using...
Lunch time gives me the chance to get away from my desk. Couldn't find the EZ-Out but a couple drill bits followed by a small torx driver and voila.
So, here's what I have. I still haven't gotten the bolsters off yet. Perhaps tonight. So the coil spring has a cage. I am not sure if it is glued...
Okay, I know she's in a really bad way. But most of the parts are there and the mechanism works (or at least it will when I add a stop pin that is missing in the top)
This looks like it was either lost in the mud, or tossed away so as not to be caught with it. Funny, the majority of the knife is...
It is a great program. I don't really do.anybgraphics at work so I don't have it on my Mac. But it is on every Linux box I own. And because it can save in reasonable formats, you can pull it into CAD programs or other stuff. You can even use it to modify simple PDFs.
