Here is my setup, Dewalt with the Swag offroad mount and foot switch. Both are new, Got the saw on e-Bay roughly 235.00 to my door,The Swag mount with the foot switch was 125.00 to my door. I like this mount because I can remove the red hand knob and use the saw in the regular mode. Scott

Michael, Here is a small salt pot setup MS Bob Kramer made for a heat treat demo at last years hammerin in Visalia Ca. It worked like a champ! Scott

Here's what I came up with. 2.5 inch 15N20 & 1084 blade, 5.75 LOA. 1018 & N200 for the bolsters, black G10 and titanium. Scott

All the welds were wet. I think the flaw was in the last stack and weld before cleaving, it starts at the edge and travels in an arc up to the center then stops and is all the way through the blade, it was very easy to see before etching. Another thing, I didn't mig weld the edges at each stage...

Bruce followed your tutorial, I tkink it came out pretty good,except for the fatal weld flaw in the middle of the blade. Scott
