I did some research on burner fabrication , before I made my first . I am using a .035" MIG tip inside a 1 1/2 pipe with about 20 lbs of pressure . It works , but I would like to get the pressure a bit lower , also I would like it to warm up quicker ...

Only problem is ks is on the other side of the state . I know there are at least a few knifemakers in the east side of mo . Just need to get everybody congregated at to sort out some details and get things rolling .

Exceptional work . In time I hope to try some copper on a blade I've got coughed out . Hope it turns out half as good as this .

It's on Hampton at the carpenters hall . It would be great if there was at least a semiannual show in Mo some where . I don't have very much knowledge of starting up guilds or clubs but I would be glad to help as much as possible .

Thanks guys . I finally got a chance to ask an engineering geek at Waterloo , he confirmed that the shaft is spring tempered 5160 . And so are the chopper blades I've been using are 5160 also .
