She's On Her Way!!! / She's Finally Here!!!

UPDATE: Mia has decided she just wasn't ready no matter how hard the Dr and nurses trued to encourage her to join us yeaterday, so we're gonna try it again today. Nadine is well and in good spirits. Her BP was still bouncing around all crazy yeaterday and last night but is currently fairly...

She's On Her Way!!! / She's Finally Here!!!

Thank you guys! I'm on a quick respite from the hospital (plastic covered couches suck!) in order to run home and let the four legged kids out and feed them. Nadine is comfy and doing well. The Dr will be inducing labor soon and we'll be welcoming Mia into the world. I expected to be nervous by...

She's On Her Way!!! / She's Finally Here!!!

Long story short, my beautiful "Mrs", Nadine, is having some minor complications with her pregnancy and our Dr has decided that it would be best to induce labor three weeks early. Can someone help ID these knives???

Nice looking piece. From what I can see I would say that it would be absolutely beautiful if polished. I can't read the mei, but I would go out on a limb and say it's 1820-1850s time feame judging by the patina on the nakago. What do you think Bubba-San?

First of all, welcome to the pack! It's always good to have another servicemember among our ranks. 1095 is a great steel! It happens to be one of my favorite. With that being said, are you planning to heat treat yourself, or use a professional heat treat service? If using a professional, I...

    CNC cutting knife blanks

Depending on the intricacy of your design, I find that having blades waterjet runs around $10-12 per for about two dozen mid-sized blanks. Typically the more you have cut, the better the price per. Of course, it also helps if you have the proper sized sheet of steel so that only one sheet is...
