    plasma cam

Ive looked at the "Plasma Cam" before. Looks like a great tool. What I really like about their set up was the ability to scan a design into their software and not have to write code for it. Just scan it in and go. Would be awesome to have one, but would need a business plan other than knives to...

New Mill and Surface Grinder / Now What??

Calvin Thanks for the advice! Josh Great tutorial! One question though. Do you give up any "precision" abilities when you convert to a belt vs stone? Again, thanks for all the input! This is exactly what I need to be hearing! God Bless Mike

    Knifemaking abrasive costs

Well I have decided that if I win the lotto I will make knives full time until I run out of money! Seriously, You guys have taken this to a much greater length than I have ever seen before. Thank you for your time and insight. As a hobby maker getting closer to retirement and hopefully...

    My 9" round sandpaper cutter.

Great idea Clalvin, and nice build. I just have to ask though, why not use spray adhesive then trim with a razor knife? There are several ways to skin a cat, I just find it hard to perfectly center a precut disc on my disc sander, so the glue and cut method works better for me. Again, just...

New Mill and Surface Grinder / Now What??

I have found a Rockwell surface grinder and an Enco mill that I will be picking up on Thursday. Now I understand the concepts and some of the basics of both machines but really have no experience to speak of. Does anyone have any "How to books" to recommend? Im looking into some classes...

    Wound Seal

Jerico, Ill have to check out WM, sounds like a good idea to have a few kits around here also! I had a problem that after the artificial "scab" came off, I broke it open again. Used the quick clot to stop it, then sealed it with super glue! Worked like a champ! God Bless Mike

How Likely Am I To Get Away With This?

Just my opinion, but I think it would have a lot to do with the disposition of the Officer. If they are uneducated on the facts, the path of least resistance is to write the ticket and confiscate the knife, and let higher up make the decision. God Bless Mike

    Wound Seal

I have never used "Quick Clot" but had heard of it. I assume it is the same type of stuff. I too have used super glue, but this time a took a chunk out and had nothing to glue back together, just a hole. God Bless Mike

    Another Folder making question?

I always buy some gaudy color like Blaze orange so you can see where you have applied it, and I always let dry and apply 2 coats. Think you will like it! God Bless Mike

    Wound Seal

Just wanted to share a product I discovered. I am on blood thinners, so if I get cut a bleed a LOT. Three days ago, I tore a chunk out of the tip of my index finger while misusing my drill press. I have had a pressure bandage (nonstick absorbent pad wrapped with sports wrap tightly) on for...
