    Hi guys, Hoping someone can help! :) I need another one of these screws on the right of the picture: (The one on the left is a 1-72 thread size) Changing the bolt it goes into isn't really an option I want to attempt at this stage and I don't have another screw that fits here...

    I would go W2 because I could heat treat it myself being a carbon steel. W2 has soul and D2 doesn't but D2 has stain resistance. Presume you're doing stock removal not forging?

    This is a blade shape I really struggle to sketch out and to make it look right. Any suggestions of rules to follow (that can be broken later on) The problem I have is getting the curve of the edge to look right with the angle of the spine, especially when you add in a false edge. Help! :D
