    my kitchen stuff is made with cpm154 when a stainless steel is asked for RC 62 is good for the hard thin blades and if you are makig the thicker softer blade styles even 59-60 would be ok

    if i was getting a new mini it woudl bt the high tg one they sell as it is a nicer tool then the HF one i have slottign guards is not bad and same with cuttign liner and framelock lock bars but using them for intergrals is way out of the range of them (i have done it tho ) not fun at all

    both are 52100 one is 6/8 + spine and the big boy is 8/8 + spine (its a bit over 9/8) both are wedge ground and both will be mirror finished the msaller is getting amboyna burl not sure whats going on the big one yet

    most the time under .007 but it depends on the buyer and knife style you tell me you want thin and you will get a retarded thin edge on the other side of that i have had buyers ask for a mmore ham handed friendly edge and they get that too that is the reall trick in mkaing a "stock" knife...
