Gentlemen this is a WIP. The parts are just dry fitted together. Still eyeballing everything. The blade is 1 1/2x8". The 1/4" thick NS guard in still in the preform stage. Haven't quite figured out where I want to go with it. I am leaning toward the opinion that the ricasso is still...

Very nice. I like the browned guard a lot. I think that it would look real nice replicated in a tinner version on the end of the hilt/butt. The two would really play off each other well.

Beautiful knife & beautiful lines. One of my main things to look for in a POCKET knife is how it rides in the pants pocket. You knife looks like it would be very comfortable in the pocket.

Beautiful Bowie. Very clean & smooth flow to the blade. What steel is it? I have always thought that bed frame handles are the way to go. Love that fine delicate file work. VERY classy without being overwhelming.
