Sporting Bowie

Hello KD,

Recently while searching for inspiration I noticed a "Sporting Bowie" on Mr Fisk's
website. I really like the idea of a single guard Bowie knife for sport and camp use
so I did one of my own from Aldo's 1075. It's 14 1/4" long with a 9 1/4" blade.
My first attempt at a clamshell guard and some nice stag handles from Culpepper.
It's soon getting leather from Kenny Rowe. Your comments are welcome.

That's a gorgeous piece of work.
I've always favored half guards on some of my bowies but always get talked out of it by the peanut gallery. This convinces me to do one....whether they like it or not.
