    That is very nice of you, Rusty. Alot of places will HT steels that are Air Hardening only.

    Scales

    If you're gonna go with a Table Saw you may want to consider a Thin Kerf Blade. Less waste of wood that way. Not much, but less. A Band Saw wastes the least, but it can be difficult to get a straight cut.

    Just got back from Bark River Knife visit

    The Wife & I missed the Grind In this year. First one.:( Just wasn't in the cards, or the finances. Mike Stewart will do requests for handles on Barkies during a run, but with some of those materials mentioned, it may be hard to find scales big enough these days. Some people supply their own.
