What's going on in your shop?

I just finished up this center line scribe how to video for all those guys just getting into the game. There are CAD plans in the description of the video... but the build is extremely easy. I use mine all the time. :) Cheers, JK

What's going on in your shop?

Whoops! Looks like putting the PID system within the toaster side compartment was a bad idea.. Too Hot.... Back to the job box all this stuff goes! SSR is the only thing busted: Edit: to the concept of integrating the PID system in the compartment's defense... My insulation job was weak.

What's going on in your shop?

I'm good with batches up to the tempering. After that I like to finish them out one at a time. I feel less focused sometimes when doing 3+ at a time! Maybe I'll get better at it... I know it's the most efficient way to go!

What's going on in your shop?

Made a new burner yesterday in an effort to run the forge at lower temps! Looks like it worked. Check out this graph: Naturally... Because it's fun for me to do! I made a video on the build if anyone is looking to build a forced air burner for the first time: Not saying this design is...

    Couple questions on forge build

I second the "buy a cheap welder" notion. So many options when you can stick metal together with a cheap 110 flux core. This may give you some ideas: I recently build a forge and cart. My propane generally sits on the ground or on the bottom shelf of this cart. I brought in the burner at an...

    Sheath Makin Hatin Club

As a follow up - I found another good instruction on putting holes in your sheath with a drill press used as an arbor press.

    Sheath Makin Hatin Club

Thank you sir! Very helpful! Do you go along the back (belt loop side) of the sheath with the groover afterwards? I found that the exiting side of the bit would puff out the holes a little.

    Sheath Makin Hatin Club

@Justin Presson Your Sheaths are phenomenal! I'm new to leather sheath making (only have made 3 pouch sheaths so far). What does your "drill press - finishing nail - punching set-up" look like in action!? How do you ensure a straight punch?

2x72 Belt Grinder Review - SRG KadrmasKreations

Hey Knife Dogs, I've been lurking around for a while on here but regrettably not very active. I'm a new-er maker working out of Midland, Texas (part-time/weekend warrior). I wanted to post this review here since A.) I think some new-er makers looking for a budget grinder may find it useful and...

    Recommendation on shop vac

I've never done this, and I'm not a pro... Just learning... I have read on other Threads that to solve this issue with the water being sucked up though the short 90 fitting; one can make a plastic baffle that floats on the top of the water. The plastic baffle should be around the diameter of...
