Final shot of mine. Finished the sheath last night. Wanted to go full mountain man look with fringe and brass tacks, but I wasn't sure if the new owner would be in to that...so I kept it clean and tasteful with a sinew double whip stitch and 2 antique brass tacks holding down the belt loop...

Ok, guys, T minus 2 hours and 25 minutes till extension is over. As soon as the sun peaks out behind the clouds I'll get a shot of mine...love natural light over crappy CFLs any day.

I'm still in too. Had a catastrophe with scales breaking on my desired submission and no time to order anything else. Luckily, I had another blade handy that I was going to make for myself. Just gotta make the sheath and I'm good to go :) Lots of great submissions guys!

Hey guys. I've been using Acrylester from www.logstolumberexotics.com with great success. I offer it only on kitchen knives and explain that it isn't for hard use nor is it likely to survive a fall onto a tile floor...that being said though, I've dropped onto my concrete floor while cutting it...

Great job! From what I can tell, your edges look good...which is one thing most people neglect when making sheaths. Show some edge pictures next time! :) I like the dimpling effect you used, almost reminds me of raindrops.
