    Some fixed blade i did

I like those small ones with the holes (the claw). What steel does xc75 relate to here in the states. I have done the mosaic in the blade thing a couple times. I kind of like how it looks.

    Tapered tang

I agree that it should be tapered a bit more. I have noticed that what looks like a good taper to me, almost disappears when I put handles on. You might also have to manipulate the knife when drilling the handle to make sure the holes line up.

    Necomers Bowie

I have no advice to offer. That knife is very nice.

    plunge lines

I now do sweeping plunge lines. I like how they look, and it is incredibly easy to sand them. When I did straight plunges, that last little bit was always a pain. I used a small stick and a lot of patience.

    Collaboration with a Five-year old

Nope, no bias there...if she can design that at five, I might want to think about hanging up my tools and taking up basket weaving.

I like the first one the best. For some reason, I like low layer damascus. What kind of press are you using?

    Skull & Flames

That is really cool, and generally, I dont get into the whole skull theme. So, those waterjet machines... only about a hundred grand right?

    The Big O!

I agree with Les. My grinder is set up with a step pulley, and I run it at the slowest setting, but it still is pretty fast. Yesterday, I did some bevel grinding on a batch of knives and I ground out 7 of them with the same belt. These were not huge knives, but they were not tiny edc's...

    Merry Christmas

1And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed. 2(And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) 3And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. 4And Joseph also went up from...

This package was full of firsts, first time with ironwood burl (I have used ironwood before, but this burl was really nice) first time with W2 and first time with stingray. I think the whole package turned out really nicely.

W2 and Stingray Going out the Door.

Here is one going to a BF member. It is W2 with ironwood burl and some stingray leather on the sheath. One of my favorites so far. What do you think.

    first sword or saber

Actually, Clint, Damascus is probably not historically accurate for the civil war. You should throw that right in your dumpster and start again. Just let me know where your dumpster is. I want to make sure it is really in there. :)

    Knife for a Co-Worker

The only thing better would be if it were sticking out of the blade of a wal-mart knife.
