    Books on scroll work

    I have been trying to do decent scrollwork/carving on my leather. Any know of decent books on the subject? Maybe some how to's. I have also seen something called craftaids that help lay out a guideline for tooling. Anyone know of any that have the fancy scroll?

    I tried the wet leather, circular application, and it worked great. I love that this forum has a sheath section. I have been trying to improve my sheath making technique. My assumption is that if someone pays decent money for a knife they should have a decent sheath to carry it in.

    I am not a steel expert, but the problem with using sawblade steel is that you are working on the assumption that it is L6, or some other usable steel.     Ceramic Platen Liner

    All of my knives get magnetized when I use my magnet to grind the flats. They pick up screws, stick to eachother and never let go of grinding dust. I bought a demagnetizer from ebay (I think) It works great.
