    Damascus Masonic Dagger

Thanks Dan, I forgot to add that this is only my second try at file work so it's not as nice as some of the stuff I see here. I made a square out of 3/16" nickle silver for degree work as well that was my first attempt at file work. I'll see if I can get a pic of it to post later.

    Damascus Masonic Dagger

I know there are a few Brothers on this board and I am sure that there are a few aspects of what I am going to say that may seem a bit odd to others who are not in the Fraternity. :3: I desinged this with as many Masonic elements as I could think of. I am using this in degree work since I am Sr...

I'm assuming you apply several drops or more to the blade prior to the beginning of sanding and then try to keep a decent amount on it by adding as it naturally runs around to the bottom of the blade. Correct Calvin?

    Mobile 1

I bought a quart of Mobile 1 10w30, a bottle of Simple Green and some Rynowet from Supergrit today. I got 120, 280, 400 and 600. I figure if the Simple Green doesn't work, I can use it to clean the Mobile 1 off of the blade.:3: Im not going for a mirror finish so I thought 600 should get a...

Frank and Calvin, I just noticed Frank said that he is going to "try the Windex again" If you don't mind me asking, for what purpose are you guys using Windex? My 1st guess would be the "water cuts" part of the equation, but it's just a guess.

Anyone else having problems with Norton Blaze...

Yes, I have had that problem with a couple of 36 grit, but I assumed it was my fault because I was in a hurry and trying to hog out a ton of metal in a short time period. I know I was letting it get WAY to hot with no brakes to allow the belt to cool off so I just figured it was my fault.

Thanks Rex and Frank. I've ordered some belts from Supergrit a while back and liked the customers service, so I'll give some of these a try.

Also. are there other brands that will work if the Rhinowet Redline is not available here? I'm assuming that a wedt/dry type of sand paper is the only kind that it can be used with, correct

Hi Rex, where do you buy your Rhinowet Redline? I googled it but it looks like its a specialty market and not widely available, unless I'm mistaken.

Scott, Wayne Coe is the man to talk to. He will fix you right up. I recommend him highly. Prices are good as well. I don't know much about electric stuff, but Wayne walked me through everything and with the instructions that Wayne includes with the VFD, it was actually pretty easy to set up...
