    I've lost my super glue - it is only ever in one of two locations, in the frig or on my shop work table - it is gone - vanished ! my wife and I have exhausted ourselves searching !! what the hell!?

    for me it was pretty much like once you get the process down - it becomes less of a chore and becomes an outlet for creativity !

    dang - looks like you are off to a great start ! you definitely have the fundamentals down pat - looks like you will have only a short learning curve - knife dogs is a vast source of info but you probably already know that - just take your time and proceed !

    new temper oven

    just to share some info on my new tempering oven - it's highly recommended as maintaining an accurate temperature and the timer goes up to 2 hrs !! One possible drawback is the vertical clearance is only about 3 inches so if a blade is more than 3" wide it would be a problem positioning it on...

    thats a better idea - although we certainly have more than our share of squirrels i kinda hate to just kill one and not eat (never did like squirrel)

    wondering about using suretouch scales that will be exposed to blood as in a hunting knife application - i've been very satisfied with the customer response so far but haven't received any feedback regarding blood staining - anyone have any input ?

    Stitches??

    "field dressing" a caribou in swamp alaskan outback deep cut thru nerves at base of left thumb - used butterfly stitches to close the wound - it was 5 days before doctor stitched it up with 6 stitches - this was 18 years ago and still have numbness due to severed nerves

    ok Steve - I knew a Steve Miller in high school - my wife and I did a road trip along the panhandle coastline about 3 mths after michael hit - one has to see with own eyes to grasp the extent of the devastation ! utterly unbelievable that a storm can do what we saw !

    yeah, likewise - I grew up in tampa and all my old friends are still there - my wife and I moved to levy county near the suwannee river in 2016 - looks like it might be downgraded by the time it gets up here but tampa might be in for a wild ride !
