    Nightmare knife

This knife gave me fits. I tried to cheat on a few steps and the Knife Gods decided to make me have to redo it after breaking an inch and a half off the tip. Anyway my first frame handle and soldered guard. 1080 steel, wrought hardware, steel pins and bovine slabs, 5 1/2" from tip to guard with...

    No Frills Knife

Hi all, I been down for a while and haven't been able to smith anything but started to feel better and decided to give it a go. I hammered out a piece of leaf spring for this one. O.A.L. is 11" with a 6.5" blade wrought iron fittings and stacked leather grip. It feels good to be making stuff...

    Bell Dirk

Close to finishing this up, hopefully tomorrow. Forged from an old pry bar, 14" o.a.l. with 9" blade to the bolster. Cow horn tip, as much solid material as I could squeeze out 2.5" wrought fittings. Got to give it some age and a sheath then it will be done. Probably won't get a chance to take...

    My latest one

Hey all I just peened this one. Got to do the scabbard yet. Old sawmill blade, wrought and elk antler. That old steel is tough!

    Another one

Here's another integral I just finished. Kind of like making them more than a regular knife you have to fit the bolster or guard to, less work. I didn't think about it til after finishing the sheath but it was heavily influenced by the style of Mr Raymond Richard. Didn't do that intentionally...

Wanted to show my first integral. Forged from a piece of coil spring. The blade is 7" the o.a.l. is 11". Wanted a sheath to tuck under a belt and sometimes wear normal. The handle is maple burl with wrought iron cap. Regards Keith.

Finally get to post in here!

Been wanting to make a tomahawk for some time now. After three tries I finally made it to the end. Got some help from Troy who gladly answered my questions, thanks again. Started as a old ball peen. The head is 7.5" tip to tip. The haft is made from mystery wood, dense and strong but ugly as...

    Something different, for me anyway

Made this for a auction to benefit my daughters school. Lots of firsts for me and not my usual style but I'm almost happy with it. 1080, blade 5", handle 4.5", crotch maple and wrought. Hope you guys like. Regards Keith

These where from a old file. My first center seam, hardened the leather with microwave and hair dryer. Have to put that back up before the wife sees it in the shop. Hope you all like. Keith

    Hello and a Scalper

    Machedanto

A guy asked me to make him something he could take out in the wood and hack down brush and still be somewhat tactical. I had to do a ground forge to HT. I'm not setup for big stuff yet. He wanted rough and mean looking. So I made him a machedanto. 5160, 14'5" blade with 8"ish handle. Black...

    First Order

Hi all, I've sold a knife here and there but this is the first order I've taken and I hope he likes it. Steel is 5160 with deep etched wrought on the handles and wrought lanyard beads. The pins are domed by ball peen and I didn't even booger up the wood, pure luck. O.A.L. 15", blades are 9.5"...

Hi folks, I've lurked mostly here, but have learned a bunch from reading old posts and tutorials. I enjoy this site and want to say thanks to all for sharing all the good info. Here is a little neck knife I just did from a old sawmill blade cut off, steer horn slabs with copper liners. O.A.L...
