1095 dressed in pine cone

I was not sold on this handle but bought it to try out myself,
was really pleased how easy it worked and it looked a lot better then I thought
it would. blade is 1095 with the dyed pine cone slabs. all comments welcome.

I like it. I am going to have to get some of those scales or try and make some. Good job all the way around.
 
I like that! I bought the outside pine cone scales, as apposed to the inside cut. I have yet to try them either. I' waiting for the perfect knife for them.
 
Wow that's looks cooler than what I was picturing in my head, prior to clicking this thread.
 
Thanks guys was trying something different like always.
Was just glad it came out better then I thought it might. did any one catch the two thong holes in the handle
and what do you guys think , if they would be useful or ditch em?
 
My personal opinion would be to either not have thong tube or to have only one at the rear of the knife. Whichever one doesn't have a thong in it is just going to fill up with mud, blood, etc.
