Im needey , i had a guy give me 30 blank out of a 1930's saw blade. i can not ask him if he had it tested or not. so i need to know if someone out there that can test one to let me what kind it is. we can talk money when we fined someone. maybe someone knows someone.

I have been told that the large old circular buzz saw blades were often, but not always, L6. I can't help you with the testing though. Perhaps you could heat treat one as if it were L6 and test it to see how it performs.
