440C and mammoth ivory skinner #113

I've got a bunch of work almost finished with this one amongst the batch. It's needing sharpened and a sheath and will be ready in earnest soon. Here's a couple shots of where I am now with it -



4 1/8" overall blade, 3 7/8" edge, 5/32" thick Admiral 440C blade, 304 bolsters, corbys, and mammoth ivory. I'll be making a horizontal sheath with a tooled border starting tonight, let me know what you think.

Here we go. This one is finished up and sitting in the "Ready to go" box at the house waiting for a new owner to fall in love with it. I am gaining new appreciation for you experienced leather workers all the time - tooling is serious business and there are absolutely no take-backs.
