A pair of hunters with amboyna burl

Here's a pair of my "Green Canyon" hunters with some nice two tone amboyna burl. These are my simple quick "lower end" hunters.

They are ground from 1/8" 1095. I usually clay quench them and etch the blades.

8 1/4" overall, 3 5/8" blades.

The middle one in the group of 3 has a "No Clay" hamon.

I threw in some pics of the pair with one of the others in buckeye burl.

Sidebar: If any knows why photobucket chooses to upload some of my photos sideways even after I go into the 'edit' tab, rotate the picture so it's oriented correctly, hit the 'apply' button then hit the 'replace original photo' button, I'd be interested in knowing how to fix that. It still loads the photo sideways for some reason.

Those look fantastic John! I love that two toned amboyna burl.

Photobucket was doing the same thing to me and after a few hours, or a few days sometimes, the picture in my post would be updated to the new picture. Very weird. This started once I upgraded and started using the bulk uploader / auto backup. It hasn't done it to me in a while though.
