I decided to try my Acid, Stone washed experiment on a real finished blade. Haven't finished it yet but I think it came out pretty good? Blade was finish sanded after Harding and Temper to 500 grit then tossed in tumbler with ceramic media and a solution of Lemi-Shine, Water and a couple drops of Dish soap then tumbled for an hour. What do you guys think??

I like the look. Does that finish act as patina against rust?

I don't think it will. I posted in another thread as this originally was an experiment. I liked the look and decided to try it for something different. I saw people using mustard and things like that. Originally I was gonna use Ferric Chloride but after seeing posts about using Mustard, Viniger etc... I had this Lemi-Shine that is basically Citric acid. Worked GREAT! Don't know how long it will last or if it will but it looks good now! LOL!!

I used mustard on one of my early blades and like the way it turned out, but I also like what your blade looks like.
