African Blackwood

Any suggestion's on how to cut thin slabs of African Blackwood , my current band saw is not up to the task.

I would suggest a Japanese saw, but make sure you're using a rip tooth.

A skip tooth blade is most often the recommended style for cutting hard woods on a wood cutting saw. That blackwood is certainly a hard wood ! Frank
