AG Russell Knife Event

This past weekend was the AG Russell Knife Show. While it was a little smaller (less commercial booths) than previous years it produced good sales with some new vendors and new products. It was announced that this maybe the last show AG Russell puts on. To me that is a sad thing as this is popular event at a fantastic venue. There was several new handle materials offered at the show, they seemed very popular as most of the material colors sold out. There was some awesome new ideas/designs for knives this year! We all have to remember to support these knife shows either by be an exhibitor or being an attendee!
 
Man, I was just thinking about the AG show this morning. I'm pretty bummed to have missed it this year.

I hope they decide to continue with the show.
 
This was my second year to miss the show and it saddens me to think that this may be the end of this great show. I think the greatest detriment to this show is timing. Many of the makers who attended this show in the beginning also attended BLADE and the Gathering. With three big shows so closely together, makers were having difficulty producing product.
