I just finished this one up from a piece of 01 steel I had. The cutting edge is 3.75" long. It was all stock removal, just wanted something to work on my grinding skills. I'm feeling much more confident with that now, but I know I still have a long ways to go.

I would appreciate any criticisms you guys can offer.

Looks good! Did you coat the handle cord in anything? Looks kind of shiney. Really like the design.

Thanks guys, but I have decided that I'm just not happy with it. I cut the cord off last night and plan on adding some walnut scales. I haven't made a rawhide sheath in a while, so I've got one of those in mind too.

Thanks guys! Yeah, I like it much better this way myself. Tried going low cost to see if there was any more interest in some budget friendly knives. There wasn't so I figured why the hell should I stick with that ugly mess I had.
