Bird and trout...

Hi guys. Here's one I just finished. I really like this design and how it feels in the hand. I think it's the most elegant knife I've made so far. Maybe I'm just biased because I like how it turned out. Feels really light and sleek in the hand.

1/8" 1080
Edge quenched
Hand rubbed finish
Tapered tang
Green/black birch burl
Black linen micarta bolsters, dovetailed
Brass pins and spacer
Multi-coat oiled and waxed hand finish
Leather sheath.

There aren't any flat or square edges here. The reflection makes the scales look flattened on the bottom but they are curved and smooth all the way to the tang.

WHOA! That's a grand-slam, not just a home run! Outstanding. Beautiful but not gaudy. Elegant and functional with excellent "flow". That spacer is the final touch for me, I'm scratching my noggin over that. You have every right to be proud!
