This morning i finished a birdseye damascus L6/1075 hunter with snakewood and buffalo horn guard with a red copper pin.
I forged the blade some time ago but never had a chance to finish it until today
The Damascus is not made by me it's from Matt James from New Zeeland, a great damast maker.
The double choil has a function cause you can use a fire steel on it, normally you can only use the spine of knife but here you can use the front also and it gives more/bigger sparks cause it has more friction.
