blade for short goose quill dao

I posted a longer thread about this in the picture gallery. Not sure where is appropriate.

Hope to finish this with mild steel disk guard, wrought iron bolster and butt cap, and ziricote wood.

this has a complex geometry - ridged until end of fuller, then lens-shaped with slight false edge.

17" working blade length
400 layers, random laminate 1075 and 15n20

This is the first single-edged thing I have made with a really complex geometry, and the first real, viable sword. I made a lot of seaxs that were good, but they are just wedges. This is a full convex surface with proportional taper in all dimensions. Good thing I like to draw file.

This is my first dao. I encourage any comments and helpful advice.

thanks for looking
